International Award for "Best Taxpayer of the Year" 2011

July 21, 2011 in SC "President-hotel" was a solemn ceremony of rewarding of winners of the Annual International Prize "Best Taxpayer of the Year" in the seventeenth ceremony of the official public recognition of the "The elite of the national economy."
The award was established at the initiative of the State Duma of Federal Assembly of Russian Federation - the Foundation for Promotion of entrepreneurship and conducted with the approval of the State Duma, Federation Council, the Accounting Chamber, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Council of Ministers of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, the Moscow City Duma, Association of Regional banks in Russia, the Russian Union of taxpayers.
The main objective of Award - to mark the achievements companies successfully operating in various sectors of the economy, promote a fair, transparent and competent business, attracting public attention to the activities of enterprises directly impacting on economic growth in Russia and in full make up the elite of the national economy.
Such shares are held in order to create high-tax culture and civil support activities designed to supplement the revenue side of budgets and trust funds, strengthening partnerships between the state tax service and tax payers. As confirmed by international experience, rewarding honest taxpayers is a type of moral incentives of businesses to voluntarily and timely payment of taxes. At such enterprises successfully carried out the investment policy, aiming to technical re-equipment and reconstruction of production.
The award-winning taxpayers, as evidenced by practice, participate in the conduct of public cultural and sports activities in the districts and regions, care for the environment, restoring and maintaining the infrastructure of their regions.
The winners of the annual international prize "Best Taxpayer of the Year" were more than 80 businesses. The award has become a means of expressing gratitude for the conscientious performance of their duties to the state, as well as, hopefully, will improve the partnership between regulators and taxpayers, increase transparency and trust in their relationship.
